The Energy Prices (Domestic Supply) (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2022
Section 5 of the Energy Prices Act 2022 (c. 44) provides for the establishment of schemes to reduce the amount that would otherwise be charged for domestic electricity and gas supply to customers in Northern Ireland. These Regulations define the terms “NI domestic electricity supply” (regulation 2) and “NI domestic gas supply” (regulation 3) for the purposes of the schemes which may be established under that section.

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(4) and (7) of the Energy Prices Act 2022.
