The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Triathlon Event, Strathclyde Country Park, North Lanarkshire Prohibited Zone) Regulations 2014
On 24th and 26th July 2014 the Strathclyde Country Park, North Lanarkshire, will be the venue for Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games’ triathlon events. For security and public safety reasons, the Chief Constable of Police Scotland has requested the Secretary of State to make Restriction of Flying Regulations for the area in the vicinity of the Strathclyde Country Park. This request has been endorsed by the Safety and Airspace Regulation Group of the Civil Aviation Authority.
