The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Cycle Time Trial Event, Muirhead, North Lanarkshire Prohibited Zone) Regulations 2014

On 31st July 2014 the area around Muirhead, North Lanarkshire, will be the venue for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games’ cycle time trial event. For security and public safety reasons, the Chief Constable of Police Scotland has requested the Secretary of State to make Restriction of Flying Regulations for the area in the vicinity of Muirhead. This request has been endorsed by the Safety and Airspace Regulation Group of the Civil Aviation Authority.
