Make it illegal for politicians to lie or misrepresent facts to the public

We call for a new law that makes it a criminal offence for any elected official to wilfully lie or deceive the public or the media, constituting an abuse of public trust. Our democracy depends on honesty. It’s time to restore faith in our political system.
