The Statutory Parental Bereavement Pay (Administration) Regulations 2020
These Regulations provide for the funding of employers’ liabilities to make payments of statutory parental bereavement pay; they also impose obligations on employers in connection with such payments and confer powers on the Commissioners for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (“the Commissioners”).

Enabling power
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 7, 8, 10 and 51(1) of the Employment Act 2002and sections 8(1)(f) and (ga) and 25(3) and (6) of the Social Security Contributions (Transfer of Functions, etc.) Act 1999with the concurrence of the Commissioners of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.
