The Parental Bereavement Leave and Pay (Consequential Amendments to Subordinate Legislation) Regulations 2020
These Regulations make amendments to secondary legislation in consequence of Regulations made under the Employment Rights Act 1996 and Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992, which make provision for entitlements to bereavement leave and pay for parents following the death of a child.

In accordance with section 236(3)of the Employment Rights Act 1996 and section 176(1)(a)of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992, a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
