The Social Fund Winter Fuel Payment Regulations 2025

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 138(2) and 175(1) and (3) to (5) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992, sections 5(1)(a) and (i), 7A(1)(b) and (c) and (2) and 189(1), (4), (5) and (6) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992and sections 16(1) and 79(1) and (4) of, and paragraph 3 of Schedule 5 to, the Social Security Act 1998. In accordance with section 173(1)(b) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992, the Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that the proposals in respect of these Regulations should not be referred to it.
