The Prospects College of Advanced Technology (Incorporation) Order 2014
This Order establishes a further education corporation called “Prospects College of Advanced Technology” under section 16(1)(b) of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 for the purpose of conducting an existing educational institution called “Prospects College”. It appoints 1st September 2014 as the operative date for the purposes of Part 1 of the Act, being the date from which the further education corporation shall operate the college.

Enabling power
In accordance with section 16(1) of the Act, the Secretary of State has obtained the consent of the governing body of the existing educational institution. In accordance with section 16A(1) of the Act, the Secretary of State has published a draft of the proposed order in the prescribed manner.
