Enabling power
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1) and 6(1) of the Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure Act 2022. A draft of these Regulations has been laid before, and approved by a resolution of, each House of Parliament in accordance with sections 2(6), 6(4) and 77(5) of the Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure Act 2022.
