The Pollution Prevention and Control (Fees) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2016

These Regulations make provision to increase the fees charged in relation to activities carried out by the Secretary of State relating to the environmental regulation of the offshore oil and gas industry and to charge fees in relation to certain additional activities carried out by the Secretary of State relating to such environmental regulation.

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 1973, section 302(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995and section 67(2) and (3)(b) of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, and with the consent of the Treasury:
