These Regulations amend the Plant Health (Fees) (Forestry) Regulations 2006 (S.I. 2006/2697) (“the principal Regulations”) in relation to England and Scotland.

The Forestry Commissioners are designatedfor the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Union in respect of forestry and make these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of that Act.
