The Iran (Sanctions) (Nuclear) (EU Exit) (Amendment) Regulations 2025
These Regulations amend the Iran (Sanctions) (Nuclear) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (“the 2019 Regulations”) to reflect the United Nations (“UN”) obligations imposed in relation to Iran by virtue of paragraph 12 of UN Security Council Resolution 2231 (2015).

the Act The Secretary of State, considering that the condition in section 45(2) of the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 (“”)is met, makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1)(a) and (3)(a), 9(2)(b), 13, 15(2)(a) and (b), (3), 54(1) and (2) of, and paragraphs 5(c), 17, 19, 20 and 23 of Schedule 1 to, the Act.
