The Electricity (Individual Exemption from the Requirement for a Transmission Licence) (Seagreen) (Scotland) (Amendment) Order 2025
The Electricity (Individual Exemption from the Requirement for a Transmission Licence) (Seagreen) (Scotland) Order 2024 granted an exemption to Seagreen Wind Energy Limited from the requirement to hold an electricity transmission licence in respect of Seagreen Offshore Windfarm. That Order provided for exemption until 7th February 2025. This Order extends the duration of that exemption until 31st March 2025.

The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(1) of the Electricity Act 1989. The Secretary of State has given notice of the proposal to make this Order in accordance with section 5(2) and (3) of that Act, has consulted with Scottish Ministersand has considered any representations made.
