The Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments (Amendment) Regulations 2014
These Regulations make provision to facilitate the application of Regulation (EU) No. 1215/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2012 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters (recast) (“the recast Judgments Regulation”) in the United Kingdom from 10th January 2015.

The Secretary of State for Justice, being a Minister designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972in relation to private international law, makes the following Regulations in exercise of the power under section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972.
