These Regulations prescribe the maximum amounts which the petition officer (the Chief Electoral Officer) in Northern Ireland may recover in respect of services rendered, or expenses incurred, under the Recall of MPs Act (“the Act”) in respect of a recall petition.

The Secretary of State, with the consent of the Treasury, makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 21(3)(b) of, and paragraph 3(1) and (2) of Schedule 1 to, the Recall of MPs Act 2015.
