Integrated care licence condition: draft guidance for providers of NHS-funded services
Seeking views on draft guidance outlining the core principles NHS providers can follow to enable patients to receive care in an integrated way.
This draft guidance is designed to help licensed providers of NHS-funded services in England, as well as NHS trusts, understand:
- how to minimise the risk of breaching the integrated care licence condition and potentially incurring regulatory action
- when Monitor may take action under the integrated care licence condition
- how Monitor will enforce the integrated care licence condition
Monitor would like to hear the views of providers, service users and patients, commissioners and any other interested parties to this draft version of the guidance. Your responses will be used to inform Monitor’s final guidance document.
Workshops and webinarsMonitor are planning to hold a limited number of workshops or webinars during or shortly after the consultation period to gather additional feedback.
If you’re interested in attending one of these please email integration@monitor.gov.uk for further details by the end of January 2015.
