Putting fans first: consultation on the resale of live events tickets

This consultation aims to improve our understanding about ongoing problems in the ticket resale market and to seek views on potential proposals aimed at improving fairness for fans.  

We encourage all interested stakeholders to respond including:

• fans
• ticketing platforms
• the wider live events sector

This consultation has been prepared by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and the Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS).

Pricing practices: call for evidence

We are simultaneously running a call for evidence on pricing practices in the live events sector.

We encourage respondents to review both the consultation and the call for evidence in tandem and respond to both.
