Reducing roadwork disruption on local ‘A’ roads

Seeking views on proposals that roadworks on local ‘A’ roads:

• are not unattended over weekends, with work sites being:
  • cleared
  • returned to traffic use
  • continued throughout the weekend
• have prompt removal of temporary traffic lights once works are complete
