Replacing GCF core services: proposed future model
The Cabinet Office is seeking the views of the PSN community on its proposed future core services model.
We are requesting feedback from the PSN community on our proposed future core services model for replacing the current GCF core services. This GSi Convergence Framework (GCF), which was set up to enable the migration to the Public Services Network (PSN), expires in August 2015. It provides access to a number of essential and add-on services used by most PSN-connected organisations, which are referred to as GCF core services.
We have developed a new model for supplying primary core services in the future, which will make it simpler and clearer for PSN customers.
We’re now seeking the views of the PSN community on this model to get feedback on the overall approach, ensure the proposed solutions are workable and understand if PSN customers foresee any issues with its implementation.
