Recruitment sector: changes to the regulatory framework including stopping EEA-only recruitment

This consultation seeks views on proposed changes to the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations.

We intend to keep regulations which provide protection for work-seekers, but remove some business to business regulation and simplify the legislation where possible.

We propose to ban employment agencies and businesses from recruiting solely from other European Economic Area (EEA) countries without advertising in Great Britain.
