The government is consulting on eligibility for schemes designed to provide relief to electricity intensive industries from the indirect costs of renewables.
This comprises of compensation from the renewable obligation (RO) and feed-in tariffs (FIT), which was announced in Budget 2014, and re-consulting on Electricity market reform: contracts for difference costs exemption eligibility- CfDs which ran from 4 July 2013 to 30 August 2013.
