Protected species licensing: new online application system

Under the Accountability for Regulator Impact Scheme regulators need to consult with business using a Business Engagement Assessment (BEA) on significant proposed changes to policy, process or practice.

Natural England has prepared a BEA for the proposed introduction of a single online application and reporting system for protected species licensing.

We welcome customer feedback, especially if you have evidence that supports or provides a different perspective on the view we have taken on the impact of the proposals.
