Reservoir safety: making reservoir emergency on-site flood plans

We want to know what you think about making all reservoirs have and maintain emergency on-site flood plans and how the requirement could work.

In particular, we’re interested in:

• what the on-site plans should include
• how often they should be updated and tested
• how we can improve the guidance about preparing plans
• if training for undertakers, engineers, local authority emergency planners and emergency services would be beneficial
