The Sheep Carcase (Classification and Price Reporting) (England) Regulations 2025
These Regulations are made under powers in the Agriculture Act 2020 (c. 21), and provide for mandatory classification and price reporting of sheep carcases by larger approved slaughterhouses.

the Act The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 23(2), 28(1) and (4), 40(1) and (2) and 50(3)(c) and (d) of the Agriculture Act 2020(“”). In accordance with sections 23(8), 28(6), 40(4) and 50(6)(a) of the Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before, and approved by resolution of, each House of Parliament.
