The Sea Fishing (Enforcement) (Amendment) Regulations 2020
These Regulations amend references to certain fisheries conservation measures in Council Regulation (EU) 2019/124 (OJ No. L 29, 31.1.2019, p.1) in the table in the Schedule to the Sea Fishing (Enforcement) Regulations 2018 (S.I. 2018/849) to reflect the coming into force of Council Regulation (EU) 2020/123 (OJ No. L 25, 30.1.2020, p.1) which replaces Council Regulation (EU) 2019/124.

These Regulations make provision for a purpose mentioned in section 2(2) of the 1972 Act and it appears to the Secretary of State that it is expedient for the references to Article 10 of Council Regulation (EU) 2020/123 fixing for 2020 the fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks, applicable in Union waters and, for Union fishing vessels, in certain non-Union watersto be construed as a reference to that Article as amended from time to time.
