The Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2014

These Regulations further amend the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 2002 (“the 2002 Regulations”) (S.I. 2002/2742) to make provision to allow for notifications and applications in relation to vehicle registration arising on transfers to and dealings by a vehicle trader to be made by electronic means or by telephone. They also provide for vehicle traders to be able to notify the Secretary of State of the change of keeper on behalf of the registered keeper when there is a transfer to a vehicle trader.
