Enabling power
The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4(4) and 10(1) of, and paragraph 4 of Schedule 2 to, the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. In accordance with section 10(2) of that Act, a draft of the instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
