The Public Procurement (Amendments, Repeals and Revocations) Regulations 2016
These Regulations make miscellaneous amendments to Acts of Parliament and statutory instruments that are consequential on the coming into force of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (which transpose Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on public procurement (OJ No L 94, 28.3.2014, p63)), the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 (which transpose Directive 2014/25/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on procurement by entities operating in the water, energy, transport and postal services sectors (OJ No L 94, 28.3.2014, p243)) and the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016 (which transpose Directive 2014/23/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the award of concession contracts (OJ No L 94, 28.3.2104)). Schedule 3 to these Regulations contains consequential revocations and repeals.

These Regulations make provision for a purpose mentioned in section 2(2) of that Act and it appears to the Minister for the Cabinet Office that it is expedient for certain references toinstruments to be construed as references to those instruments as amended from time to time. EU
