The Proscribed Organisations (Name Change) Order 2025
Part 2 of the Terrorism Act 2000 (c. 11) makes provision about proscribed organisations (including setting out offences in relation to such organisations in sections 11 to 13). An organisation is proscribed if it is listed in Schedule 2 to that Act or, as in most cases, if it operates under the same name as an organisation so listed (section 3(1)).

The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 3(6)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2000. In accordance with section 3(6)(a) of that Act, the Secretary of State believes that the organisation listed as Baluchistan Liberation Army in Schedule 2 to that Act is operating wholly or partly under a name that is not specified in that Schedule (whether as well as or instead of under the specified name).
