The Policing and Crime Act 2009 (Commencement No. 8) Order 2012
This Order commences amendments made by the Policing and Crime Act 2009 to sections 119 and 120A of the Police Act 1997 (c. 50) in relation to information to be provided by the Independent Safeguarding Authority to the Secretary of State which can taken into consideration when determining whether a person is suitable to be registered as someone able to counter-sign applications for criminal records certificates.

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in the exercise of the powers conferred by section 116(1) of the Policing and Crime Act 2009.
