The Police and Crime Commissioner Elections (Designation of Police Area Returning Officers) Order 2015 (revoked)
This Order designates for the purposes of section 54(1)(b) of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 (c. 13) the police area returning officers for the police areas in England listed in Schedule 1 and the police areas in Wales listed in Schedule 2. Article 3 revokes the existing designation order (S.I. 2012/2085) so far as that order relates to an election of a police and crime commissioner the poll for which is on or after 1st May 2016.

In accordance with section 7(1) and (2)(ha) of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000, the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster has consulted the Electoral Commission before making this Order.
