The Plant Protection Products (Sustainable Use) Regulations 2012
These Regulations, as respects the United Kingdom, transpose Directive 2009/128/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for Community action to achieve the sustainable use of pesticides (OJ No L309, 24.11.2009, p.71)(“the Directive”) and provide enforcement provisions.

These Regulations make provision for a purpose mentioned in section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972. It appears to the Secretary of State that it is expedient for references in these Regulations to Directiveof the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for Community action to achieve the sustainable use of pesticidesto be construed as including references to Annexes I to IV of that Directive as amended from time to time. 2009/128/EC
