Enabling power
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14(1), (2), (3) and 20(1) of the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Act 2023. The Secretary of State is a relevant national authority for the purpose of section 14(1), (2) and (3) of the Act. In accordance with paragraph 5(2)(e) of Schedule 5 to the Act, a draft of these Regulations was laid before, and approved by a resolution of, each House of Parliament.
