Enabling power
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 67(1) to (4), and 224(1)(a)(i) and (b) of the Online Safety Act 2023. The Secretary of State has consulted the NCA and OFCOM and such other persons as the Secretary of State has considered appropriate as required by section 67(5) of the Online Safety Act 2023.
