The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (Constitution and Functions) and NHS England (Information Functions) Regulations 2013

These Regulations make provision in relation to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (“NICE”) (established under Part 8 of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 (c. 7) (“the Act”)) and the Health and Social Care Information Centre (“the Information Centre”) (established under Chapter 2 of Part 9 of the Act).

The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 235(1) to (3), 237(1) to (3), (5)(b) and (c), and (7) to (9), 238, 239(1), (4) and (5), 240(1) to (3), 242, 268(1) and (2), 269(1), 274(1)(d) and (6) to (8), and 304(1), (9) and (10) of, and paragraph 8(2) of Schedule 16 to, the Health and Social Care Act 2012:
