The Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (Amendment) Order 2012
This Order adds, in article 2, Desoxypipradrol and other Pipradrol‑related compounds to Part 2 of Schedule 2 to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (the “1971 Act”) which specifies drugs which are subject to control as Class B drugs under that Act. Article 3(a) omits Pipradrol from, and adds 7‑bromo-5-(2-chlorophenyl)-1,3-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one (commonly known as Phenazepam) to, paragraph 1(a) of Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the 1971 Act which specifies drugs which are subject to control as Class C drugs under that Act. Article 3(b) adds Pipradrol to paragraph1(b) of Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the 1971 Act.

Accordingly, Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 2(2) of that Act, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:
