These Regulations make provision relating to sections 8, 10 and 15 and Part 5 of the Elections Act 2022 (c. 37) (“the Act”).

A draft of these Regulations has been laid before, and approved by resolution of, each House of Parliament in accordance with section 333(3A) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, section 52ZQ(7) of the Local Government Finance Act 1992, section 105(6) of the Local Government Act 2000, section 117(2) of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009, section 154(2)(b) of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011and section 21(6) of the Recall of MPs Act 2015.
