The Local Government (Structural and Boundary Changes) (Control of Disposals etc.) (Amendment) Order 2026

This Order amends a provision in the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 (c. 28) (“the 2007 Act”) relating to the control of property disposals and contractual dealings that local authorities that are to be dissolved pursuant to an Order made under section 7 (implementation of proposals by order) or section 10 (implementation of recommendations by order) of the 2007 Act may make or enter into without the consent of specified persons.
