The Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (Biometric Material) Regulations 2024
These Regulations provide for the retention of biometric material, which would otherwise be destroyed, for use by the Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (“the ICRIR”).

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 35(1) and (2) of the Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Act 2023.
