Enabling power
The Secretary of State, being a Minister designatedfor the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972in relation to measures relating to rights of entry into, and residence in, the United Kingdom, in exercise of the powers conferred by that section, and of the powers conferred by section 109 of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002, makes the following Regulations.
