The Fruit Juices and Fruit Nectars (England) Regulations 2013
These Regulations, which apply to England, implement Council Directive 2001/112/EC relating to fruit juices and certain similar products intended for human consumption (OJ No L 10, 12.1.2002, p 58), as last amended by Directive 2012/12/EU (OJ No L 115, 27.4.2012, p 1). They revoke and replace the Fruit Juices and Fruit Nectars (England) Regulations 2003 (S.I. 2003/1564).

Enabling power
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by— paragraph 1A of Schedule 2 to the European Communities Act 1972, so far as relating to regulationand Schedule 1; 3(3) sections 114Aand 138(7) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998, so far as relating to— regulation, to the extent that it relates to paragraph 2 of Schedule 15, and 21 paragraph 2 of Schedule 15; and sections 6(4), 16(1)(a) and (e), 17(1), 26(1)(a) and (3)and 48(1)of the Food Safety Act 1990, now vested in the Secretary of State, so far as relating to the other provisions of these Regulations.
