The Football Spectators (Seating) (Amendment) (England) Order 2025
The Football Spectators (Seating) Order 2022 (S.I. 2022/728, “the 2022 Order”) directed the Sports Grounds Safety Authority to include in any licence to admit spectators (defined in section 1(7) of the Football Spectators Act 1989 (c. 37)) to the premises listed in Schedule 2 to that Order, a condition imposing the requirements specified in Schedule 1 to that Order as regards the seating of spectators during designated football matches at those premises.

Enabling power
The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Football Spectators Act 1989, having consulted the Sports Grounds Safety Authority in accordance with section 11(4) of that Act.
