The Education (Recognised Bodies) (Wales) Order 2016
This Order lists all the bodies appearing to the Welsh Ministers to be recognised bodies within section 214(2)(a) or (b) of the Education Reform Act 1988. Such bodies are either:universities, colleges or bodies authorised by Royal Charter or by or under an Act of Parliament to grant degrees; orbodies which are for the time being permitted by any body falling within paragraph (a) to act on its behalf in the granting of degrees.
