The Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (Commencement No. 2 and Transitional Provision) Regulations 2024
These Regulations are the second commencement regulations made under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (c. 56). They commence certain provisions in Parts 1 to 5 of that Act.

Enabling power
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 219(1) and (9) and 220(1) of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023. The Secretary of State has consulted the Scottish Ministers and the Department of Justice in Northern Ireland in accordance with section 219(6) and (7) of that Act.
