The Designation of Schools Having a Religious Character (England) (Amendment and Revocations) Order 2024
This Order amends the entry in the Designation of Schools Having a Religious Character (Independent Schools) (England) (No. 2) Order 2013 (S.I. 2013/2867) that relates to King’s School to reflect the changes to the school’s postcode and designation of religious character.

Enabling power
The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 69(3) and (4) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998, and those powers as applied in relation to independent schools by section 124B(1) and (2)of that Act. In making this Order, the Secretary of State has followed the procedure set out in the Religious Character of Schools (Designation Procedure) Regulations 1998and the Religious Character of Schools (Designation Procedure) (Independent Schools) (England) Regulations 2003.
