The Damages (Personal Injury) Order 2017
This Order prescribes minus 0.75 per cent as the rate of return which, under section 1 of the Damages Act 1996, courts are required to take into account when calculating damages for future pecuniary loss in an action for personal injury.

The Lord Chancellor makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Damages Act 1996, having consulted the Government Actuary and the Treasury in accordance with section 1(4) of that Act:
