The Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 (Risk of Being Drawn into Terrorism) (Revised Guidance) Regulations 2024
These Regulations bring into effect revised statutory guidance about the exercise by specified authorities in Scotland, as listed at Part 2 of Schedule 6 to the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 (c. 6) (“the Act”), of their duty under section 26(1) of the Act. The revised guidance replaces such guidance as came into effect for specified authorities in Scotland on 18th September 2015 (S.I. 2015/1697).

Enabling power
the Act The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 29(5) and (7) of the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 (“”). The Secretary of State has consulted in accordance with section 29(4) of the Act. In accordance with section 29(5) and (7) of the Act, a draft of these Regulations was laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
