The Civil Procedure (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2019
These Rules amend Part 57 of the Civil Procedure Rules 1998 (S.I. 1998/3132) to provide for the procedure for claims and applications under the Guardianship (Missing Persons) Act 2017 (c. 27) (“the Act”).

The Civil Procedure Rule Committee, having power under section 2 of the Civil Procedure Act 1997(“the CPA”) to make rules of court under section 1 of the CPA and section 20(1) and (5) of the Guardianship (Missing Persons) Act 2017, after consulting in accordance with section 2(6)(a) of the CPA, makes the following Rules.
