The Banking Act 2009 (Service Providers to Payment Systems) Order 2017
Part 2 of this Order amends Part 5 of the Banking Act 2009 (c. 1), which provides for the Bank of England to oversee certain payment systems, such that the Part applies to certain service providers in relation to such systems.

A draft of this Order has been laid before and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament, in accordance with section 40(2) of the Bank of England Act 1998, section 142Z of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, section 206A(8)(b) of the Banking Act 2009 and section 143(3) of the Financial Services (Banking Reform) Act 2013.
