The Assured and Protected Tenancies (Lettings to Students) (Amendment) (England) (No. 2) Regulations 2013
These Regulations amend Schedule 2 to the Assured and Protected Tenancies (Lettings to Students) Regulations 1998 so that UPP (Broadgate Park) Limited, UPP (Clifton) Limited and UPP (Nottingham) Limited are specified for the purpose of paragraph 8 of Schedule 1 to the Housing Act 1988. The effect of the specifications is that a tenancy granted by these companies to a student at an educational institution specified in the 1988 Regulations is not an assured tenancy for the purposes of the 1988 Act.

Enabling power
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 8 of Schedule 1 to the Housing Act 1988.
